Avision, also known as Anthony Cardinale, emerged from the rich club culture of New York City, influencing his journey in techno. His debut album, “In My Mind,” on Maceo Plex’s Ellum Audio, has garnered acclaim for its blend of melodic techno and maximal house.

Starting his DJ career at 12 and gaining residency at 15, Avision’s recent highlights include performances at Teksupport, The Brooklyn Mirage, Time Warp NYC, Off Sonar Barcelona, EDC Las Vegas, Space Miami, Watergate Berlin, and Stereo Montreal.

In addition to his successful solo career, Avision has collaborated with mentor Victor Calderone to relaunch the MATTER+ imprint, focusing on groove-based techno and house. Alongside this, he has initiated the Ground Rule Collective, merging various creative passions under the influence of New York. The philosophy of Ground Rule aligns with Avision’s commitment to staying true to the music, the art form, and himself as he continues to push boundaries in his artistic journey.
