The secret behind this longevity lies in the hands on, DIY attitude of its founder, the legendary Italian DJ and producer Stefano Noferini. Built on a rock-solid “music before the name” ethos, the imprint has evolved from a local Italian project into a global powerhouse that continues to dominate the digital charts today.

The timing of the Beatport accolade couldn’t be better. Stefano Noferini continues to lead by example, recently celebrating the massive success of his latest release, “Thats True” The track has already made waves globally, climbing into the top 15 of the Beatport Minimal / Deep Tech Chart, proving that the label’s signature sound is as sharp as ever.
Furthermore, fans will have plenty of opportunities to experience the Deeperfect vibe live. Stefano is currently embarking on an extensive Winter Tour, running from October 1st to March 31st. This tour serves as a bridge between the classic underground spirit and modern dancefloor energy, bringing sophisticated grooves to top-tier clubs worldwide.
From Florence Underground to Global Influence
Stefano Noferini’s journey began long before Deeperfect became a global reference. Starting his career in 1980, Stefano cut his teeth in the passionate clubbing scene of Tuscany. He credits the underground spirit of clubs like Tenax for shaping his identity. This community driven atmosphere provided the perfect foundation for what would eventually become the Deeperfect sound.
The breakthrough came at the iconic Cocoricò in Riccione, eventually leading him to global stages like Space Ibiza and Ministry of Sound. These experiences provided the platform needed to launch the label’s own imprint, which began as a vinyl only, focused on spotlighting emerging talents.
The Evolution of the Deeperfect Sound
The growth of the label is a masterclass in adaptation. Stefano recalls the early days when feedback on a release arrived via fax a far cry from today’s instant digital metrics. By 2010, the label expanded its reach through global distribution, ensuring that the label’s vibe could be heard in DJ sets from London to Miami.
Today, Deeperfect continues to champion the sounds that move dancefloors. Whether through chart-topping hits or international tours, the legacy of Deeperfect remains rooted in personal connection and a relentless dedication to the craft.
