Irène Drésel made history in 2023 by becoming the first woman to win the César Award for Best Original Music. Her vibrant and direct techno music creates a unique sensory universe that blends magnetic, sonic, and visual elements.
Career and Achievements
After releasing two EPs, “Rita” (2017) and “Icône” (2018), her debut album, “Hyper Cristal”, was released in 2019, followed by “Kinky Dogma” in 2021. This second album, praised by Libération as “a consummate and ambitious techno work”, solidified her reputation and led to performances at prestigious events like Printemps de Bourges, Fnac Live, and Arte Concert. Additionally, her collaboration “Zeitgeist Botanica” with master Jean Michel Jarre highlighted her versatility and innovative talent.
Success and Upcoming Projects
With over 5,000 sales of her previous projects, Irène Drésel is set to dazzle her fans with her third album, “Rose Fluo”, which will be celebrated at the Olympia in May 2024, an already sold-out show.
Debut in Spain
